I feel like I just finished writing his 1 month birthday blog! Time is just flying by!
Here is what my second month looked like:
Starting to smile and smirk while I am awake
Saying bye to Charlotte Grandma and letting mom and dad learn how to take care of me
Mom going back to work
Learning to adjust to daycare
2 month checkup- 10 lbs and 22 inches and lots of vaccinations
Getting sick for the first time from daycare and the vaccinations
Doing better about diaper changes
Great internal biological clock (almost exactly starts crying every 3 hours for meal time)
Love skin-to-skin time with mom and dad- really comforts me
Loves the chants that dad and mom make up in order to soothe me
Love having my hands near my face
Make lots of grunting and random noises to keep everyone on their toes
Mom and dad are sad about this- but no more crazy head shakes when I get my food
Sweet smiles before I fall asleep
Trying to hold my head up and can scoot my body across the couch or mat if placed on my tummy
Very active and alert
Nuzzling
Love to be held
Lots of swaddling so i do not keep waking myself up
Starting to make more eye contact with mom and dad
Outgrew my preemie clothes and almost outgrew the Newborn clothes
Starting to play more with objects and notice the toys
First voicemail (from Asha and Maryann chechy)
Meeting Roy Uncle for the first time
Here is what mom and dad’s second month looked like:
Doing better about the fear
So much happiness and love
Lack of sleep
Lots of feeding and diaper changes (every 3 hours) and swaddling
Mom can hear the pumping machine in her sleep
Can’t get enough of staring at Naveen
Learning (and still learning) how to make Naveen happy
Lots of reading baby websites and books
So many pictures
Trying to keep up with the blog
Dad off for a month of classes so more time with little Naveen
Staying later in the morning and visiting little beanie weenie at lunch (mom) at the daycare
So sad when Naveenie was not feeling well
Dad cant wait to pick mom and Naveenie up from the daycare in the evening
