Daddy showing off what he learned today!

Chris is showing off his skills on how to calm a newborn baby through a swaddling technique and side-holding (football hold). I was so proud of him!

8/3/11 As you all know- Little Naveenie came into this world on July 29, 2011 at 11:01 am! He was 6 pounds 10 ounces and 19 inches...very healthy baby boy. I am doing well as well. Will update the blog as time allows. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers- we could not have done this without it...

7/28/11- Everything still ok. I am STILL 1 cm dilated! Unless my body decides otherwise, looks like August 15 week may still be on the table. Since little Naveen has been head down for so long, she said to anticipate that he will have a cone head for just a little while (which is normal- no worries). Other than that, his heart beat sounds healthy and he is measuring just fine.

My doctor is on vacation next week, so if he decides to come, we will have to see another doctor. The practice is really great, so I have no worries at all. Next appt is August 3 (mom and dad's anniversary!)...to be continued :)

7/21/11- Everything still ok. I am still 1 cm so looks like Naveen will stay in a little bit longer ... :)

7/14/11- Doctor is still saying the beginning of August for the delivery. As of today's appointment, she said that I am 1 Cm dilated!
