This past week, we had TWO amazing showers given to us by our respective departments. We were just blown away with all the decorations, games, and gifts. Each department went beyond the call of duty to show their love- it was definitely overwhelming! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!
My group definitely tried to incorporate the Jungle theme- we had little animals everywhere! We even had jungle-themed music playing in the background! We first played games—one was called “What would Daddy Say“ and the second one was “Guess the Baby”. In “What would Daddy say”, everyone had to guess what Chris said/did in certain situations (my team had worked with Chris prior to the shower to get his responses). As usual, Chris had everyone laughing! In the “Guess the Baby” game, the attendees had to match the baby pictures with the matching celebrity or dept person. We had a real fun time! We then cut our gigantic, gorgeous cake and then started opening our million gifts. The gifts were so thoughtful and fully appreciated by these soon-to-be-parents!
Thank you to Eva (my boss) for taking pictures!

Chris’ Work Shower
Chris’ work place really went beyond the call of duty as well. Everything was decorated with the nursery colors of brown and green, and it was just so beautiful with all the balloons and decorations. We started off by playing two games- the first one was to make a baby out of play-doh and the second one was a measuring game. I have to say I was so impressed with the babies that people made out the play-doh! We had babies with such detail as facial features, babies laying down, babies sitting up, and even diapers on the babies! Chris and I had the hard job of picking a winner- but we eventually did pick a very impressive looking play-doh baby! Next, for the measuring game, they had to guess how inches around both Chris and I were together! The winner of this game guessed 60 inches and was right on the dot!

| They made a scrapbook for us and also we received advice cards from all of them! |
Chris’ boss took pictures for us and we will receive those when she gets back in town. I will update the blog with the shower pictures when I receive them…
We then cut the beautiful cake and proceeded to open the millions of gifts given here. Again, we received some adorable, much needed items at this shower.
| These were all the gifts from Chris' coworkers (not to mention all the gifts below)! |
There are a couple gifts that I definitely wanted to share for their creativity…
One of Chris' coworker's wife made this beautiful basket full of goodies (made the basket as well)!! We could not believe how awesome this basket was --not to mention how much stuff she stuffed in thebasket!

| These are all the items that were in the basket!! |
| Now an empty basket that we will use in the nursery...amazing, huh? |
This was a gift given from three of Chris'coworkers--it was so creative! They all know how much Chris likes to workout so they made a little "Workout Bag for Naveen" with little notes! So cute!
Gym bag- "Baby Naveen's Workout Bag" |
| Sippy Cup- "Baby Naveen's Water Bottle" |
Baby Formula - "Baby Naveen's Protein Drink" |
Clothes- "When you thrown down on the court...you have to have the right gear" |
| Car Magnet- "Let the ladies know you're on the way to the gym" |
Rattles- "Baby Naveen's Dumbbells" |
| Bottle Ice Packs- "Ice for those Sore Muscles" |
| Toy- "Baby Naveen's Football...go short" |
| Pedialyte- " Baby Naveen's Gatorade" |
| Diaper Creme or Butt Paste: "Because everyone chafes while working out every now and then" |
| Baby wash- "Gotta wash the bod after a hard workout" |
So funny, huh? We definitely had a great laugh opening up the gym bag and reading all the notes!
We feel so loved and blessed- thank you!
